As we continue an important part of our business - our community support was again strengthened with this year’s 8th Annual 2008 Bruce Lynton Charity Ball. This year’s event helped to raise close to $190,000 for our three nominated charities – Cancer Council Queensland, Guide Dogs Queensland and Queensland Surf Life Saving, bringing the total amount raised over 8 years in excess of $1million.

At Bruce Lynton Pty Ltd we believe in supporting our supporters, along with assisting those less fortunate within our community. Hosting this annual event is our way of saying thank you to the greater community that provides continuous support for our business which has been established on the Gold Coast since 1974.

We thank each of our charities; The Cancer Council Queensland, The Queensland Guide Dogs and Queensland Surf Life Saving for providing strength, encouragement and belief in our event and for providing vital services within our community.

The 2008 Bruce Lynton Charity Ball was held on the 14th June in the Grand Ballroom at Crowne Plaza Royal Pines Resort and since its inception close to 5,000 guests have passed through the Charity Ball doors.

A special thank you also to all our sponsors and those who attended to make this event a possibility.

And with 2009 just around the corner, I’m pleased to announce we have confirmed Saturday April 4th as the date for next year’s Charity Ball. This is an event not to be missed on the 2009 calendar and promises to only be bigger and better.
